true inspirations

I have been a fan since one week before Middle of Nowhere was released. I had heard "Mmmbop" on my local radio station. Well, after they played the song, the DJ announced that they would be playing a mini concert at a mall a couple towns over, so my sister and I asked my mother if she would take us... luckily, mom said yes!

This is my Paramus Park experience.

My sister, Heather, and I both brought a friend. This was on a Friday. We left straight from school and got to the mall at about 3:30ish and at that point there were only about 10 other people there, spread out in front of the 4 inch high stage, so my sister, me and my friend got up close and my mother went and bought a camera. My friend and I thought that since we had some time to kill that we would go do some shopping... and booooy was I stupid!

By the time I got back, there were about 1,000 people there. The officer almost didn't let my friend and I back by my sister. We eventually got there but we had to sit on each others legs because there was no room, and somehow we got pushed all the way back by the balcony. We looked over and there were people standing in the fountain!

Well, once the DJ came out everyone stood up so me, my friend and My sisters friend all tried to get up real close, and we did... then the DJ had to try to get us to sit down. We all sat down and the three of us were right next to the speaker. Soon everyone was screaming "Taylor, Taylor, Taylor" and then "Zac Zac Zac" and then "Hanson, Hanson, Hanson". Then the shrill of a lifetime.... I heard screams from what looked to be coming from over by GNC, a vitamin store. The screams were getting closer and then I realized that Hanson was trying to get out... and these screams were LOUD and very very high pitched.

I was sitting right by Taylor and he had put his hand down to shake some fans' hands. I reached out and got a little touch of his arm, but that was all. Zac was saying "For the love of Pete, Please stop screaming." And that's All he kept saying "Stop screaming". Some people got to ask questions and one girl asked "Can I kiss one of you?" and Zac jumped to answer that one "We don't do kisses!!". Then Ike introduced the first song over the screams, and I don't think anyone beyond the balcony could hear. "This first song is track 11 on our new cd Middle of nowhere, Its called Madeline." So they sung Madeline... then after that, Taylor goes "Now I think you all know this one." and EVERYONE, I mean Parents, kids, grandpas... everyone there starts Screaming... and they sung Mmmbop.
