The day before MON came out... the day I saw hanson Live for the first time... Paramus Park... This was the day that I realized I could make something of myself, and this is the day that I started writing. When I went home that night I wrote my best poem, my first poem and an award winning poem. I realized on this night that these kids, at the time, were 11, 14 and 16. I was 12 and I wanted to be something. I wanted to be a writer, and so I became A writer. Trust me, I have a long ways to go, but not only did Hanson inspire me to write, they inspired me to keep on going and to never give up, no matter how many times you may be rejected. There will always be people that put you down, but never ever let them get in the way of what you want to do... and I walked out of the mall with a dream.... 

Thank you hanson, I have yet to reach my goal of publishing my own book of poems (I have written over 300 since that night), but I know I am a great writer, and YOU have given me the confidence to keep my head up and never let anyone get in the way of what I want to be. You are inspiring me to achieve my dream, and so far, you've been a great inspiration.
